HOW IS THE MARKET BEHAVING, SINCE FULLY REOPENING?

In Wales, the market was partially re-opened on the 22nd June, but restricted to the viewing of unoccupied properties only.  On the 27th July the market fully re-opened with permission to view occupied properties as well.

Since then the activity levels have soared, both with large numbers of viewings, offers being made and properties coming onto the market for sale.  Competition to buy has been so intense, that several offers have led to a ‘Best Bids’ situation and in consequence, prices above asking figures achieved.

It is too early to know if this level of activity will continue, but so far it has.
