HAS THE ‘BORIS BOUNCE’ DEVELOPED?

Since the start of the New Year, the market has certainly improved and part of this has been down to the optimism created from the finalisation of the Brexit question and a Government, with a large majority, in a position to do good works, without an eye, just to electoral victory.  Allied to this, is the natural optimism that comes with a New Year and the hopes for better times to come.  The statistics from Property Portals demonstrate the surge of interest and activity in the market, peaked in late January.

Provided that progress can be made in agreeing trading arrangements with Europe and the slowing of the rate of the spread of Coronavirus, there is no reason not to anticipate a healthy year in the residential property market, during the rest of 2020.
